It was many many years ago, in a land across the sea.

A living organ washed ashore & looked not like you or me.

No arms, nor legs or toes with only a mouth and two gills for a nose.

It was whisked away by water & foam.

I got a strange feeling to follow it home.

Into an ocean cave far from the watery roar,

Out in front was a monstrous ceiling door.

Inside was a site that would blow your mind,

hundreds of living organs in metamorphosis,

making body parts of every kind.

One would need to be a scholar to know the language organs spoke or to understand that "Car--- lyle" translated means "parts for human folks".

It takes not imagination nor an extended bit of smarts,

to realize "Carlyle Manor" means a house of "body parts”!
